The purpose of this information is to help you learn more about the life and work of Raysfield Junior School. In child-speak, our aim is for all members of the school community to:

We hope to provide a wide range of enriched learning opportunities for all children, to help them grow into independent, well educated and responsible people.  We aim to help the children develop various skills in a friendly and purposeful atmosphere.  We educate the whole child, aiming that every aspect of child development is catered for. There is a very supportive climate within the school that encourages all pupils, of all abilities, to thrive.

 

We believe that the school should be a happy place in which to work and learn. We are always attempting to improve our effectiveness as an educational institution, making what we do even better, and responding to the varying needs of our pupils. We have a highly motivated staff team who work well together in genuine team collaboration, working towards high expectations in pupil's academic, spiritual, moral, cultural and social development.
