School Meals

With ever increasing numbers of children taking school meals, the time taken by the office staff, on behalf of South Gloucestershire Council, has also increased. Therefore we have brought together a few points to make life easier for everyone.

  • Please send all money, via the class teacher, on a Monday so that numbers can be recorded for the week.

    • This aids the school kitchen as they then know how many meals to prepare each day, cutting down on food waste.

  • Dinner money must be in an envelope marked clearly with your child's name, class, amount enclosed and the days on which meals are required.

    • No monies will be accepted after Monday unless your child was absent from school.

  • Should no money be received at school for your child's meals for more than two weeks, you will be asked to provide sandwiches for their lunch until the debt is cleared.

    • It is a good idea to check your child's bag on a regular basis to ensure they have given their dinner money to their teacher and also for any letters from school.

  • School meals cost £2 per day or £10 per week.
